Jorge Pedro de Sousa e Carla Baptista participaram no CHINED (VI The Sixth International Conference on Historical News Discourse), que decorreu de 21 a 23 de junho 2017 na Universidade de Sheffield, em Inglaterra.
Jorge Pedro apresentou uma comunicação subordinada ao tema “Seeing the news! The construction of graphic news reporting in the Portuguese illustrated magazines at the end of the 19th century”. Já Carla Baptista apresentou a comunicação “First World War press coverage in Portugal: the birth of war reporting genre”.
