This year’s programme focuses on the relationship between film and the written text to bring a range of events to London and Liverpool, showcasing a few gems of Portuguese spoken cinema . The festival kicks off with a two-day conference on the topic of screen adaptation, followed by screenings, Q&As with directors, live poetry readings, special matinee sessions for school children and a book launch.
